End-of-Life Policy

WatchGuard Technologies is strongly committed to providing industry-leading products and services. As the market continues evolving towards more complex levels of network security, WatchGuard will periodically announce End-of-Sale and End-of-Life lifecycle milestone information along with migration recommendations for our valued customers.

Once an End-of-Sale date is announced, you may continue to order products from your authorized WatchGuard reseller partner while limited stock is available. Customers with active LiveSecurity® Service accounts will receive continued technical and limited software support until the End-of-Life.

Product Lifecycle Milestones

WatchGuard has announced lifecycle milestones for the products listed below. Migration options are indicated and updated on a periodic basis.

* End of Life date for SP or MX models refers to date posted OR 3 years from date of initial purchase as per mandatory hardware refresh policy - whichever comes sooner.

End-of-Life Policy Guidelines

• WatchGuard will provide End-of-Sale announcements to direct partners per agreements.
• The End-of-Life date will generally occur up to five (5) years after the End-of-Sale date.
• Prior to the End-of-Life date, WatchGuard may provide at its unilateral discretion, maintenance releases, patches, and/or hot fixes.
• LiveSecurity Service support contract renewals and Hardware Warranty Extensions will generally continue to be available until one (1) year prior to the End-of-Life date.
• Renewable security subscriptions will generally be available for purchase from reseller partners until one (1) year prior to the End-of-Life date. However, WatchGuard reserves the right to change security subscriptions (replacing a subscription service with a different, equivalent, service) at any time during the End-of-Sale to End-of-Life period.
• New subscription services may not always be compatible with WatchGuard products in their End-of-Life period or past End-of-Life.
• The Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process will continue until the End-of-Life date if the product is covered by a Hardware Warranty.
